If you are watching your weight, chakalaka will be a great substitute for carbs😃😃 Chakalaka Recipe 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 large onion chopped  Red, yellow & green bell peppers chopped  2-3 Hot chile peppers, minced  2-3 Garlic cloves crushed  2 teaspoons curry  powder  Half diced courgette  1 cup chopped tomatoes  1 tin Baked beans in tomato sauce  Salt and pepper  Method 1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium flame.  2.Add the onions, bell peppers, chile peppers, garlic and curry powder. Saute, stirring frequently, until the onions and peppers are cooked down and wilted, about 2 to 3 minutes. 3. Stir in the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in the baked beans, salt and pepper and stir to heat through. Serve hot or cold. You can throw in grated carrots, cabbage etc. I used half a piece of courgette in this one!

Chakalaka Recipe
